Build a roadmap around customer outcomes
Turn customer feedback into a focused product roadmap without chasing every feature request.

Start with the problem
A useful roadmap explains which customer problems you intend to solve. Group feedback by the job a customer is trying to complete, rather than by the feature they requested. Review support conversations and interviews together so individual requests have context.
Make trade-offs visible
For each opportunity, record the expected outcome, the evidence behind it, and the smallest experiment that can reduce uncertainty. Prioritize a few meaningful improvements instead of filling every quarter with commitments.
Revisit the roadmap regularly with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. Keep delivery dates separate from discovery work, and tell customers what you learned when priorities change.
